IT Tech Hub is seeking a Data Engineer for a US-based client, offering a remote, part-time contractor role designed for professionals based in Latin America. The position requires overlap with Pacific/Mountain Time zones and an initial 3-month engagement with potential extension.

You will design and maintain Snowflake pipelines, develop data models with Coalesce and dbt, and ensure data quality across workflows while collaborating with stakeholders in a distributed team.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Data Engineer or Analytics Engineer.
• Advanced SQL skills and strong understanding of data modeling concepts.
• Experience building and maintaining ELT/ETL processes.
• Ability to work independently and communicate effectively in English.

Data Engineer (Snowflake / Coalesce / dbt)

Remote | LATAM | Part-Time | PST/Mountain Time Overlap

IT Tech Hub is seeking a Data Engineer for a US-based client to support a growing data initiative focused on Snowflake-based data transformation and modeling.

This is a remote, part-time contractor opportunity for professionals based in Latin America who can collaborate during Pacific or Mountain Time business hours. The initial engagement is expected to last 3 months, with a strong possibility of extension.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain data pipelines and transformation workflows in Snowflake.

• Develop and optimize data models using Coalesce and dbt.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Data Engineer or Analytics Engineer.

• Strong hands‑on experience with Snowflake.

• Experience using Coalesce and/or dbt.

• Advanced SQL skills and strong understanding of data modeling concepts.

• Experience building and maintaining ELT/ETL processes.

• Ability to work independently and communicate effectively in English.

• Availability to overlap with Pacific or Mountain Time zones.

Nice to Have

• Experience with cloud data platforms and modern data stack tools.

• Exposure to BI and analytics workflows.

• Experience supporting multiple stakeholders in fast‑paced environments.
