The role emphasizes Python/Scala/Java development, SQL proficiency, and experience with cloud data platforms and Airflow for orchestration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher with relevant experience in data engineering.
• Experience designing scalable data pipelines, data warehouses, and relational DBs.
• Proficiency in SQL; programming in Python, Scala, or Java.
• Experience with cloud data platforms and workflow orchestration (Airflow).
• Ability to document data architectures clearly.

Responsibilities

• Designing, constructing, testing, and maintaining scalable data architectures and processing systems to support enterprise data needs.
• Developing and optimizing automated ETL/ELT pipelines to ingest, transform, and load data from diverse sources.
• Collaborating with data scientists and analysts to establish data interoperability standards.
• Conducting performance tuning, data validation, and troubleshooting across complex database environments.
• Maintaining comprehensive technical documentation, data baselines, and configuration management controls.
• Recommending and implementing process improvements for reliability, data quality, and scalability.
