Job summary

S4 Technologies Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer to apply theoretical and practical data engineering knowledge across data architecture, pipelines, and analytics. The role focuses on scalable pipelines, ETL/ELT, data warehousing, and governance to support enterprise analytics.

You will work with SQL/NoSQL databases, build data lakes and warehouses, and collaborate with analysts, scientists, and stakeholders on cloud-based platforms to deliver reliable data solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in CS/IT/Engineering or related field.
• Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and database systems.
• Experience with SQL and database technologies.
• Experience in building data pipelines and ETL processes.
• Understanding of SDLC.

Responsibilities

• Design scalable data pipelines to process large volumes of structured and unstructured data.
• Develop and maintain ETL/ELT processes from multiple data sources.
• Apply data modeling, warehousing, and database design principles.
• Build data integration solutions across enterprise systems, APIs, and cloud platforms.
• Work with SQL and NoSQL databases for storage and retrieval.
• Develop and manage data lakes and data warehouses for analytics and reporting.
• Ensure data quality, integrity, and governance through validation and monitoring.
• Optimize data processing performance and resolve data-related issues.
• Collaborate with data analysts, data scientists, and business stakeholders.
• Utilize big data technologies and distributed computing frameworks for large-scale processing.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation related to data architecture and workflows.
