Amazon Ads is seeking a data engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and data infrastructure for analytics and machine learning at massive scale. You will partner with software engineers, data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into well‑architected solutions that are reliable, scalable, and easy to consume.

Formación

• 4+ years of data engineering experience.
• Experience building highly available distributed data systems for extraction, ingestion and processing of large datasets.
• Knowledge of full software development lifecycle practices including coding standards, architectures, reviews, CI/CD, testing, and ops.
• Experience with batch and streaming data architectures (Kafka, Kinesis, Flink, Storm, Beam).

Responsabilidades

• Design, build, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines and data infrastructure with data quality, lineage, and monitoring.
• Create logical and physical data models reflecting business requirements.
• Develop and optimize SQL queries for large-scale datasets using distributed processing frameworks.
• Collaborate with analysts, scientists, engineers, and stakeholders to translate requirements into well-architected solutions.
• Identify opportunities to automate data processes and apply generative AI to improve productivity and data quality.
