Job summary

ACCO Engineered Systems is seeking a Data Engineer to design, implement, and manage the company’s data infrastructure in Southern California. You will build and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines, ensure data quality, security, and accessibility to support operations and strategic initiatives.

You will collaborate with the Data Architect and stakeholders to translate business needs into scalable data solutions, leverage AWS/Azure/GCP, and explore AI/automation opportunities while keeping data governance

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field.
• Experience translating business requirements into technical specs and scalable data solutions.
• Experience with cloud platforms and data governance/security best practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines and ingest data from multiple sources.
• Implement data validation, quality assurance, and data governance processes.
• Collaborate with Data Architect to design scalable, secure data infrastructure (data lakes/warehouses).
• Partner with stakeholders to deliver data-driven solutions and insights for decision-making.
• Leverage Docker/Kubernetes to deploy scalable data services and ML environments.
