Job summary

Bluehawk, LLC seeks a Data Engineer to design scalable data architectures and pipelines for advanced intelligence analysis at the JIOC. You will implement robust ETL workflows, real-time processing, and data integration across multi-INT sources while adhering to IC security and governance standards.

You will collaborate with analysts and data scientists to translate analytic needs into robust data solutions, maintain data quality, and support mission-critical operations with timely and reliable

Qualifications

• Proficiency in core data engineering programming languages, especially Python.
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL database systems (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Elasticsearch).
• Strong understanding of ETL/ELT tools, workflow orchestration, and data pipeline development.
• Hands-on experience with cloud-based data platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Familiarity with IC data security requirements and data governance.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable data architectures to support intelligence missions and growing data volumes.
• Develop automated ETL and data transformation processes for ingestion and normalization of diverse sources.
• Build optimized storage solutions using SQL and NoSQL databases tailored to analytical needs.
• Create and maintain batch and real-time data pipelines for timely data access.
• Implement data quality validation and monitoring to ensure accuracy and reliability of intelligence data.
