Job summary

The Data Engineer at Healthfuse designs, builds, and maintains the data platform powering internal and client-facing operations. You will help transition to a modern, AI-enabled fabric-based data platform and develop Fabric-based pipelines and service bus integrations for real-time web portal data.

You'll also support legacy ETL workflows, write complex MSSQL queries, and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure data quality, accuracy, and timely reporting for healthcare revenue cycle clients.

Qualifications

• Requires 3–5 years of professional Data Engineering experience.
• Hands-on with Microsoft Fabric (lakehouses, pipelines, notebooks).
• Experience with Azure Service Bus or equivalent messaging services.
• Strong MSSQL and complex SQL development.
• Python for data engineering and pipeline automation.
• Experience with ETL/data transformation tools (Alteryx, dbt, SSIS, ADF).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting abilities.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain data pipelines and lakehouses in Microsoft Fabric.
• Implement Azure Service Bus integrations for bidirectional communication and event triggers.
• Develop event-driven processing workflows to replace manual data handling.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to surface Fabric outputs in the web portal.
• Design ETL workflows and datasets using Alteryx or equivalent tools.
• Write complex SQL queries and perform end-to-end data validation.
