Job summary

York Solutions, LLC is actively seeking a senior ontology engineer to lead enterprise knowledge graph initiatives and metadata modeling across data platforms.

You will collaborate with data teams to design scalable vocabularies and RDF/OWL schemas, leveraging Python for data integration and graph processing. Strong governance focus and stakeholder communication are essential.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in ontology engineering, knowledge graph development, semantic technologies, metadata management, or information architecture.
• Hands-on experience with graph databases such as Neo4j, Amazon Neptune, GraphDB, Stardog, or equivalent platforms.
• Deep understanding of semantic web standards including RDF, OWL, SKOS, SPARQL, and linked data concepts.
• Experience designing enterprise ontologies, taxonomies, business vocabularies, and metadata models.
• Proficiency in Python and experience building data integration and graph-processing solutions.
• Knowledge of Data Mesh, data governance, metadata management, and enterprise data architecture.
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
