Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a data engineer to implement data engineering activities on mission-driven projects in McLean, VA. You will deploy and develop pipelines and platforms that organize and make data meaningful.

You will guide a multi-disciplinary team of analysts, data engineers, developers, and data consumers, and you will manage the assessment, design, building, and maintenance of scalable platforms to meet mission requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience with SQL, Java, or Python and Spark.
• Experience in working with highly structured data.
• Ability to manipulate data across different tables.
• Knowledge of different data types and the different sources of data.
• Knowledge of modeling and how to make that data usable for meeting mission requirements.
