Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking a Data Engineer for Marketing Tech BI within Stores Finance Analytics & Insights. The role focuses on building scalable data infrastructure and automated reporting to maximize Long Term Free Cash Flow.

You will work with cross-functional teams to design data models, develop ETL/ELT pipelines, and ensure data quality across Redshift and data lakes in a fast-paced, global environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of data engineering experience.
• 1+ years building ETL/ELT for BI analytics.
• 1+ years with OLAP analytics and data modeling.
• Bachelor's degree in CS/Engineering/IS/Math or related field.
• Experience with data modeling, warehousing and ETL pipelines.
• Experience with Hadoop, Hive, Spark, EMR.
• Experience with scripting languages like Python/Scala.

Responsabilités

• Own design, development, testing, deployment and operation of data pipelines and datasets.
• Build and maintain scalable ETL/ELT workflows using SQL, Python, AWS and big data tech.
• Operate and improve data infrastructure including Redshift clusters and data lake tables.
• Automate recovery steps, runbooks, and improve data quality controls.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable data solutions.
• Contribute to data foundations supporting forecasting, experiments, ML/AI use cases and self-service analytics.
• Mentor junior engineers on tasks, standards, and data quality expectations.
• Participate in on-call support for critical pipelines and datasets.
• Support GenAI, RAG, and agentic analytics data foundations.
