Meta is seeking a Data Engineer Intern for Summer 2027 in Seattle. You will design and implement scalable data models and data processes, working with software engineers, data scientists and product managers to align with product goals and business insights.

You will contribute to data quality, own key data pipelines, and help manage data warehouse plans across products while experiencing a fast-paced, collaborative environment at scale.

Qualifications

  • Pursuing or holding a technical degree in CS, information science, math or related field.
  • Strong SQL, data modeling and at least one programming language (Python, C++, C#, Scala).
  • Must obtain work authorization in the United States at hire.

Responsibilities

  • Architect, implement and deploy new data models and data processes in production.
  • Perform data analysis to generate business insights.
  • Interface with Engineers, Product Managers and Data Scientists to understand goals.
  • Build data expertise and own data quality for allocated areas.
  • Manage data warehouse plans for a product or group of products.
  • Support critical data processes running in production.
