Job summary

L3Harris Technologies is seeking an Application Development Intern to join the Enterprise Data and AI team in Rochester, NY. You will help design, build, and maintain data pipelines, ensure data quality, and develop dashboards to provide actionable enterprise insights within Palantir Foundry.

The role focuses on developing and maintaining the Unified Data Layer, data platform design, documentation, and user training, enabling decision-makers with clean data across the organization.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Engineering, CS or related field.
• Understanding BI & DW development methodologies is a plus.
• Hands-on Snowflake experience is preferred.
• Experience with Python, Pandas, Databricks, JavaScript or Typescript is desirable.
• Experience with ETL tools such as Palantir Foundry, ADF, SSIS, Informatica or Talend is preferable.
• Working knowledge of ERP data sources (Oracle EBS, SAP) and REST APIs is a plus.
• Experience with AI tools such as OpenAI or Palantir AIP is beneficial.
• Palantir Foundry Pipeline Builder, PySpark, Spark SQL experience is valued.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain robust data pipelines for enterprise data flow.
• Maintain pipeline schedules, orchestrate workflows, monitor data health.
• Create and optimize data connections, datasets, and transformations.
• Troubleshoot data sync issues and ensure correct data from sources.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to uphold data quality standards.
• Use Palantir Foundry to connect to source apps, extract/load data, model data.
• Develop data cleansing, consolidation, and integration mechanisms for analytics.
• Build visualizations using Palantir Foundry tools and assist users with testing.
