itD is seeking a Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable advertising data pipelines that power revenue reporting, analytics, and decision‑making across monetization platforms. This role contributes directly to data reliability, performance, and insight generation by delivering high‑quality datasets that support advertising efficiency and business growth. The ideal candidate brings deep experience in ads data platform engineering, data pipeline development, and revenue metrics analysis, with a proven ability to deliver reliable, production‑grade data solutions.

Location: Remote (U.S.-based; Pacific Time collaboration preferred)

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and optimize large‑scale advertising data pipelines and warehouse tables supporting monetization and reporting use cases.
• Build and author scalable, high‑performance ETL/ELT pipelines with strict SLA requirements.
• Support revenue metrics reporting, KPI development, and opportunity score calculations used for advertising insights.
• Perform data quality validation, troubleshoot pipeline and data issues, and conduct root cause analysis to ensure data integrity.
• Provide technical guidance on data source selection, data modeling, and SQL/Presto query optimization.
• Assist with data governance, privacy compliance, and Tier‑0 certification processes for critical data assets (tables, pipelines, dashboards).
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams including product, sales, analytics, and engineering to deliver actionable, high‑quality data and support ad hoc data requests.

Internal Responsibilities

• Attend regular internal practice community meetings.
• Collaborate with your itD practice team on industry thought leadership.
• Complete client case studies and learning material (blogs, media material).
• Build out material to contribute to the Digital Transformation practice.
• Attend internal itD networking events (in person and virtual).
• Work with leadership on career fast‑track opportunities.

Required Qualifications And Skills

• 3–5 years of experience in data engineering, with a focus on advertising, monetization, or revenue‑focused data platforms.
• Advanced SQL expertise with deep experience using Presto for large‑scale data analysis and pipeline development.
• Proven experience designing and building scalable ETL/ELT pipelines and data warehouses.
• Strong data modeling experience supporting analytical and reporting use cases.
• Strong Python coding experience for data processing, pipeline development, and automation.
• Extensive experience with KPI and revenue metrics reporting, including metric design, analysis, and visualization.
• Demonstrated expertise in data quality management, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.
• Solid understanding of advertising data models, campaign structures, and ads reporting requirements.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for technical documentation and stakeholder collaboration.

Preferred Qualifications And Skills

• Experience with Hive tables and data warehouse optimization.
• Knowledge of data governance, privacy compliance, and permission management frameworks.
• Experience supporting Tier‑0 or highly critical data assets with strict SLAs.
• Ability to work effectively with cross‑functional teams including sales, product, and analytics.
• Prior experience in large‑scale advertising or monetization platforms.
• Exposure to AI‑driven analytics or advanced data use cases.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience required.
