Job summary

TD Bank is seeking a Data Engineer II to support data modeling, quality, profiling, ingestion, ETL, and metadata practices across the platform. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data governance, lineage, and security standards are followed.

The role requires hands-on experience with Azure Databricks, PySpark, SQL, and Azure Data Factory, designing scalable data models and robust ETL processes. Onsite in Mount Laurel, NJ with 40-hour weeks.

Qualifications

Degree, Postgraduate Degree, or Technical Certificate in Data Management or a related discipline (e.g., Computer Science or Engineering), or equivalent practical experience.
3+ years of relevant experience.
Advanced knowledge of data engineering frameworks, technologies, tools, processes, patterns, and procedures.

Responsibilities

Provide data engineering functions including data modeling, data quality, data profiling, data acquisition and ingestion, ETL, metadata enrichment and management, and data provenance and lineage.
Articulate complex, large-scale technical design to non-technical partners.
Elicit, analyze, and translate business and data requirements into data solutions and governance, lineage, and metadata.
