Job summary

Allspring Global Investments is seeking a Data Engineer II to join the Engineering and Technology Platform Data team responsible for Investments and Operations Data. The role focuses on end-to-end design, development, testing, and deployment of data pipelines, with collaboration across business and technology stakeholders to resolve complex issues and optimize performance.

The position operates in a hybrid model with in-office work four days per week in Charlotte, NC.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS or related field with 5+ years experience or Master’s degree with 3+ years.
• 5+ years of SQL experience.
• 5+ years of designing and delivering data integration solutions using IDMC.
• 5+ years of Python or C# development.
• 3+ years of Snowflake experience.
• 3+ years of AWS Cloud or other cloud experience.
• Experience with Agile SDLC and CI/CD.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Architect, design, develop, test, and deploy data pipelines end to end.
• Collaborate with Data Stewards, technology teams, PMs, and developers.
• Consult with technical experts to resolve complex issues and drive goals.
• Perform code reviews and optimize performance across areas.
• Participate in on-call rotation for L2/L3 production support and incident resolution.
