Job summary

The Larry H. Miller Company is seeking a Data Engineer I to join the Data & Analytics team in Sandy, Utah. You will learn and build reliable data pipelines, transform data from multiple sources, and deliver analytics-ready datasets in Snowflake under guidance from senior engineers.

You will work on data modeling, testing, monitoring, and production support, collaborating with analysts and business stakeholders to ensure data accuracy and secure handling of sensitive information.

Qualifications

• Experience with data, programming, databases, or automation projects.
• Strong foundation in SQL and Python for data pipelines.
• Knowledge of ETL/ELT, data modeling, and data quality checks.

Responsibilities

• Build, maintain, and support data ingestion and transformation pipelines.
• Pull data from databases, APIs, cloud storage, and files into Snowflake.
• Organize data into raw, staged, and curated layers using team standards.
• Create analytics-ready tables, views, and data marts for reporting.
• Apply business rules and document data definitions with stakeholders.
• Write and maintain tests; monitor and troubleshoot data jobs.
