Travelers is seeking a Data Engineer in Hartford to build and operationalize complex data pipelines, design scalable data solutions, and analyze data sources for value. You will collaborate across teams to support delivery and educate end users on our data products and analytic environment.

Ideal candidates have strong data engineering fundamentals, hands-on cloud experience, and proficiency with modern data technologies. A STEM degree and 6+ years of related experience are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in STEM related field or equivalent.
• Six years of related experience.
• Strong data engineering fundamentals and principles.
• Proficient with cloud platforms and modern data technologies.
• Experience working with AI tools and concepts.
• Comfortable using key engineering and DevOps tools.
• Proficient programming skills and solid understanding of software engineering practices.
