Job summary

Security First Managers is seeking a Data Engineer to design, build, and optimize enterprise data solutions that support analytics, reporting, operational efficiency, and business growth. You will develop scalable data architectures, manage database environments, and ensure data integrity and security across systems.

Ideal candidates will have 5+ years in data engineering with strong SQL Server, Python, MySQL, and PostgreSQL skills, plus experience with data warehousing and AWS Redshift.

Qualifications

• 5 years of data engineering, analysis, BI, or related field.
• Bachelor’s degree in STEM with 3 years of related experience or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of MS SQL Server, SQL DB administration, Python, MySQL, PostgreSQL.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain relational databases, data models, and data warehouses to support reporting and operations.
• Build and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and views for high-performance data access.
• Develop data integration solutions and automated workflows with external partners.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and maintain database systems for availability, performance, and data integrity.
• Perform advanced data analysis and transform raw data into actionable insights for stakeholders.
• Establish database standards, governance, security controls, and best practices across environments.
• Support reporting requirements with timely, accurate outputs.
• Collaborate with business teams to translate data needs into technical solutions.
• Improve data management and automation while adopting new technologies.
