Job summary

Ocupacao is seeking a Data Engineer (English speaking) to design, develop, and maintain data architectures. You will ingest data from multiple sources, process large datasets, and enable ML model training in a cloud-native, data-driven environment.

The role requires 3+ years as a Data Engineer, proficiency in Python/Scala and SQL, and fluent English. You will join an agile, cross-functional team in Aveiro, Portugal with hybrid work arrangements.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a Data Engineer.
• Proficiency in Python or Scala and SQL.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, data science, data engineering, or related field.
• Experience with Data Lake/Warehouse/Data Vault/Data Mart concepts.
• Familiarity with Spark and Flink.
• Fluent English.
