Intrepid, an SPA Company, seeks a Data Engineer to join the Defense Health Agency data programs. You will design scalable data pipelines, integrate diverse health, financial, and operational data, and build reusable data products in a Databricks environment.

Strong Python/SQL, Spark experience, and an active Secret clearance are required. The role involves collaboration with engineers, architects, and stakeholders to drive data-driven decisions in a DoD-focused federal context.

Qualifications

• Active Secret clearance is required.
• Bachelor's degree in CS/IS/SE or related field.
• 3–10 years in data/software engineering or related tech.
• Strong Python and SQL proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines in Spark, Python, SQL.
• Integrate diverse datasets into reliable analytics products.
• Develop data models and analytics datasets for enterprise reporting.
• Build and maintain API-based data integrations.
• Monitor and optimize production pipelines for performance and reliability.
• Implement data validation, governance, and quality checks.
• Contribute to testing, documentation, and reusable patterns.
• Collaborate with engineers, analysts, and stakeholders to meet data needs.
