SpaceX is seeking a Data Engineer for the Ground Network Engineering team in a hybrid role. You will own data pipelines, forecasting models, and logistics workflows that support Starlink infrastructure deployment and reliability.
The role combines data engineering with inventory and infrastructure operations, enabling smarter automation and resilient global systems. Travel and extended hours may be required.
SpaceX was founded under the belief that a future where humanity is out exploring the stars is fundamentally more exciting than one where we are not. Today SpaceX is actively developing the technologies to make this possible, with the ultimate goal of enabling human life on Mars.
This hybrid role sits at the intersection of data engineering, supply chain, and infrastructure operations to support the global deployment and critical operational reliability of Starlink's ground network. As we continue to scale, the Data Engineer will own the software systems, data pipelines, forecasting models, and logistics execution needed to make deploying and maintaining Starlink infrastructure around the world fast, predictable, and reliable. This is not just a data role or an operations role, this is the person who will help us build a smarter, more automated, and more resilient global infrastructure system through software and data.
