Location Simpson Querrey Biomedical Research Center
This position will be responsible for the development of data analytics systems under the ownership of the Data Discovery and Development team under the Stanley Manne Children’s Research Institute. The Data Engineer I assists in the implementation and maintenance of data systems, working with Product, Business Analysts, and peers to support availability and efficiency across operational and analytical workflows. The role follows established procedures to complete work independently, seeking guidance on non-routine decisions. The Data Engineer I supports data ingestion, storage, and integration and contributes to complex data solutions through familiarity with core data management solutions and architectures, including warehouse, lake, and medallion patterns, as well as foundational data processes such as governance, metadata, and data quality.
Pay Range $83,200.00-$137,280.00
Salary At Lurie Children’s, we are committed to competitive and fair compensation aligned with market rates and internal equity, reflecting individual contributions, experience, and expertise. The pay range for this job indicates minimum and maximum targets for the position. Ranges are regularly reviewed to stay aligned with market conditions. In addition to base salary, Lurie Children’s offer a comprehensive rewards package that may include differentials for some hourly employees, leadership incentives for select roles, health and retirement benefits, and wellbeing programs.
