The Bison Group LLC in Springfield, VA is seeking a data engineer to design, build, test, and maintain data pipelines, ETL/ELT workflows, and API connectors for analytics and mission operations.

You will collaborate with engineers and mission teams to ensure reliable data delivery across cloud and enterprise environments, implement data validation, and produce well-documented code using Python, R, Scala, JavaScript, or C++, with Git version control.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a related field.
• Experience with geospatial or imagery data is required only for relevant assignments.
• Ability to write well-documented code in Python, R, Scala, JavaScript, or C++ with Git.
• Strong knowledge of visual programming or object-oriented modeling workflows.
• Experience with ETL/ELT, relational data, and structured or semi-structured formats.
• Ability to validate data, investigate data quality issues, and evaluate solutions.

Mansioni

• Design, build, test, and maintain data pipelines and ETL/ELT workflows for analytics and mission operations.
• Develop and maintain API connectors and integrations to ingest data.
• Create and improve data models and processing workflows for performance and scalability.
