Job summary

Altkom Software ищет дата-инженера для поддержки международной команды в Великобритании. Основная задача — развивать и поддерживать хранилище данных на базе SQL Server, проектировать ETL и интеграции данных, обеспечивать качество данных и сопровождать миграцию к Microsoft Fabric.

We are looking for a Data Engineer to support our client's international team in the United Kingdom. The organization currently uses a data warehouse based on Microsoft SQL Server (on-premises), fed with data from the Epicor Kinetic ERP system. In the coming years, it plans to transform its data environment to Microsoft Fabric as part of a global Microsoft Dynamics 365 implementation.

Задачи:

• Develop and maintain a data warehouse based on Microsoft SQL Server.
• Design, develop and optimize ETL processes and data integrations.
• Create and develop procedures, scripts and database solutions in a SQL Server environment.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Work with the international Data & Analytics team and business stakeholders.
• Support the development of reporting and analytics solutions.
• Monitor data quality and identify areas that require optimization.
• Participate in planning and carrying out the transformation of the data environment to Microsoft Fabric.
• Prepare technical and project documentation.
• Support the maintenance and development of key data integration processes across the organization.

Требования:

• You have experience working with Microsoft SQL Server.
• You have very good knowledge of SQL and data modeling.
• You have experience designing and developing data warehouses.
• You have worked with ETL processes and integrating data from multiple sources.
• You can analyze business needs and propose appropriate technical solutions.
• You have experience in analytics or reporting environments.
• You communicate comfortably in English.
• You can organize your work effectively and work independently.
• You are comfortable working on projects and collaborating with international teams.
• Experience with Microsoft Fabric.
• Experience with Azure Synapse Analytics.
• Knowledge of Microsoft SQL Warehouse or other modern Microsoft data platforms.
• Participation in data platform migration or modernization projects.
• Experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, Phocas or similar).
• Knowledge of ERP systems, particularly Epicor or Dynamics 365.
• Experience working with on-premises and cloud environments.
