SDG Group is seeking a Data Engineer to design, develop, and deliver modern data solutions for clients. You will partner with technical and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and build scalable pipelines across cloud platforms.

The role requires 3–5+ years in data engineering, experience with ETL/ELT, SQL, Python, and tools like Snowflake or Databricks. This hybrid Bedminster, NJ position offers growth and a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of data engineering experience, preferably in consulting.
• Strong knowledge of ETL/ELT, data warehousing, and data integration.
• Proficient in SQL and Python or similar language.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and modern data tools.
• Good communication and client-facing skills.
• Willingness to learn and adapt.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, test, and maintain scalable data pipelines.
• Integrate data from diverse sources using ETL/ELT methodologies.
• Develop data models and warehouse structures for reporting and analytics.
• Contribute to cloud-based data platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP/Snowflake/Databricks).
• Write efficient SQL and code, ensuring quality and deployment practices.
• Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to gather requirements.
• Improve data quality, reliability, and performance.
• Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, architects, and data scientists.
