Day to day responsibilities:

  • This position needs to perform a lead data engineer role to manage the design, development and maintenance of data applications including “Flexcube Upgrade” initiative.
  • Design – Data pipeline design, development and maintenance.
  • Quality – Data quality integrity, security and integration testing.
  • Maintenance – Troubleshooting to identify and resolve issues with data applications.
  • Mentoring – Guide and mentor data engineers both onsite and offshore.
  • Solutions – Driving guidelines for data engineering workflows – collection, ingestion, cleansing, storage and serving.
  • Learning – Learn new technologies and open to work on legacy data warehouse application tools and technologies.
  • Data Modeling – Dimensional modeling design to optimize storage and data access for analytical purposes.
  • SQL – Expertise in complex SQL queries to extract, transform and load data.
  • Data Warehouse – Data warehouse design, architecture and optimization techniques for large datasets.
  • ETL – Design and implement Extract, Transform, Load pipelines to prepare data for analysis.
  • Testing – Testing the data pipelines, ensuring the quality and reliability of data flowing through the system, mentoring test engineers in building comprehensive test strategies.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their data needs and develop appropriate data solutions.
  • Conduct UAT and end user training.
  • SAP BODS, IICS, DataStage, Oracle, Netezza, Python & Redwood.
  • SAP BODS, Oracle, PLSQL, Snowflake, AWS Services like S3, Glue, Lambda, DynamoDB, Redshift.
