Job summary

RMantra Solutions at Scott AFB, IL seeks a data engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable data systems and pipelines for analytics and reporting in a DoD environment. This onsite role requires US citizenship and the ability to obtain interim Secret clearance.

You will integrate data from multiple sources using Kafka, Elastic Stack, AWS, and OpenShift, develop data warehouses and data lakes, and contribute to CI/CD pipelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical discipline.
• 4+ years of relevant data engineering experience.
• Experience designing, building, and maintaining data pipelines (ETL/ELT).
• Experience with data warehouse and data lake technologies (e.g., AWS Redshift, S3, Hadoop, Snowflake).
• Proficiency with Python, Java, SQL; Linux/UNIX administration; DevOps practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable data systems and pipelines for analytics and reporting.
• Unify and integrate data from multiple network operation systems into a consistent platform.
• Implement solutions using Kafka, Elastic Stack, AWS, and OpenShift; support Kibana dashboards with React/JS/HTML.
• Develop and manage data warehouses and data lakes; optimize infrastructure for performance and cost.
• Automate ETL/ELT, data validation, cleansing, monitoring; support CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate with data analysts and visualization engineers; document architecture and procedures.
