Job summary

Accenture Federal Services seeks a Data Engineer to design and operate distributed parallel data processing pipelines, including data connections, parsing, normalization, mapping, modeling, enrichment, and analytics integration. You will work within an agile SDLC and maintain system design documentation.

Requirements include 5 years of data engineering with a STEM degree (or 7 years with a Bachelor's), 3+ years in agile SDLC and classified environments, and experience with Python/Java and data

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience as a data engineer with a Master's degree in STEM OR 7 years with a Bachelor's in STEM
• 5 years of experience with distributed parallel streaming and batch data processing pipelines
• 5 years of experience with Python, Java, or other programming languages
• 3 years of experience applying agile methodologies to the data engineering SDLC
• 3 years of experience maintaining data pipelines in a classified environment
• 3 years of experience integrating with data SDKs / APIs and data analytics SDKs / APIs
• 3 years of experience with data mapping, modeling, enriching, and correlating classified data
• 3 years of experience with data source identification and deduplication to meet military requirements
• 3 years of experience with Git repositories and CI/CD pipelines (GitHub, GitLab)
• 1 year of Python/PySpark
• 1 year of Java/Java interface to Spark

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain the data processing pipelines per platform availability requirements
• Follow agile methodologies in the data engineering SDLC
• Update technical documentation such as SDD, SOPs, TTPs, and training material
