LDSS Corp in Dayton, Ohio is seeking a skilled Data Engineer to join our team and drive data-driven transformation for federal programs. You will work with Databricks, Apache Spark, Python, AWS, and SharePoint while collaborating closely with SMEs and stakeholders.

Responsibilities include building ETL pipelines, data modeling, API integrations, and cross-system data exchanges. Strong communication and problem-solving are essential to support mission-critical operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering or related field.
• Databricks, Spark, and cloud data engineering experience (2-3 years).
• SQL proficiency for querying relational data (4+ years).
• AWS cloud services including S3 (3+ years).
• Python for data analysis, cleansing, and visualization (4+ years).
• SharePoint lists/libs, Microsoft Graph, and 365 integration.
• APIs for data exchange between systems; Jira for agile tracking.
• Security clearance suitable for federal programs; relevant certifications.

Responsibilities

• Build and optimize ETL data pipelines using Databricks and Spark.
• Develop scalable data models using Spark DataFrames and Spark SQL.
• Use Python and regex for text parsing and data cleansing.
• Leverage APIs for cross-system data exchange and automation.
• Manage SharePoint data programmatically via Microsoft Graph.
• Utilize Microsoft 365 for documentation and collaboration.
• Develop and maintain AWS services including S3.
• Collaborate with SMEs and cross-functional teams to define data transformations.
• Track work with Jira and ensure timely delivery of data solutions.
