Qualifications

• Secret clearance (active or ability to obtain).
• Databricks experience mandatory.
• Strong Python, PySpark, and SQL skills.
• Experience building production-grade data pipelines in cloud-native environments.
• Understanding of data modeling, orchestration, automation, and quality frameworks.
• Experience with DevOps practices supporting data engineering workflows.
• Strong communication and ability to collaborate with government stakeholders.
• Bachelor's degree in CS, Engineering, Data Science, or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable and secure data pipelines supporting mission critical workflows.
• Implement best practices for data ingestion, transformation, orchestration, quality, and sustainment.
• Work with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver reliable, maintainable data engineering solutions.
• Ensure long-term reliability, observability, and performance of production data systems.
• Develop and operate solutions within Databricks (mandatory), consistent with mission platform operations.
• Produce documentation, diagrams, data models, and sustainment procedures.
• Support troubleshooting, optimization, and enhancements to production systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional technical and mission teams to align engineering outputs with program goals.
