Job summary

Megazone Cloud is seeking a Data Engineer Co-op to join a fast-moving team and turn classroom theory into professional execution. You’ll build data pipelines, optimize code, and collaborate with engineers on a modern tech stack, including AWS, Databricks, and Snowflake.

You’ll learn through direct mentorship, contribute to real customer solutions, and grow your skills in Python, SQL, data structures, and algorithms within a supportive, results-driven startup culture.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field.
• Expected graduation December 2026 or later.
• Experience with Python and SQL in academic or project settings.
• Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and database principles.
• Builder mindset with strong desire to learn and grow.
• Strong communication and teamwork, able to convey complex ideas clearly.

Responsibilities

• Direct contribution as a core member of the technical team building data pipelines.
• Collaborate with senior engineers under a mentor-led model to grow technical skills.
• Write and optimize Python and SQL code to automate data workflows.
• Participate in team meetings and technical discovery to shape design discussions.
• Gain hands-on exposure to AWS, Databricks, and Snowflake in real projects.
• Work alongside data science and infrastructure teams to scale for a high-growth startup.
