Job summary

Two Harbors Investment Corp. is seeking a Data Engineer to design and deliver scalable data solutions, maintain a centralized warehouse, and optimize data pipelines. You will collaborate with analysts, PMs, QA, and business teams to ensure robust data delivery.

The role focuses on data modeling, MS SQL BI environments, and ETL processes using SSIS, with preferred experience in Azure Data Factory and Snowflake to support enterprise data initiatives.

Qualifications

• 5+ years proven experience in a data-centric role within a collaborative data and technology team.
• Writing and optimizing complex SQL queries to extract large datasets.
• Using data transformation tools like SSIS.
• Advanced SQL knowledge and proficiency in working with relational databases.
• Hands-on experience with data warehouse solutions.
• Proficiency with SQL, preferably Microsoft T-SQL.
• Strong understanding of data modeling and governance practices.
• Independent and collaborative problem solving in a Microsoft SQL BI environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver data solutions that comply with development standards.
• Maintain a relational database schema with defined tables, relationships, and constraints.
• Build automated ETL processes to load data into a centralized data warehouse.
