Mayo Clinic is seeking a Data Engineer to access data across the organization, analyze data, and support data-driven decision making. You will work with software developers, database architects, data analysts and data scientists to optimize data delivery and architecture across cross-functional teams.

The role requires strong SQL knowledge, data modeling understanding, and experience with ETL processes. You will contribute to improving data quality and expanding data systems to meet business

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 2 years of related experience with data analysis, profiling and modeling.
• Ability to analyze and profile data to address business problems using data mining techniques.
• Experience with data quality, ETL concepts and data delivery architectures.

Responsibilities

• Assemble large, complex data sets that meet functional / non-functional business requirements.
• Strong knowledge of SQL required; write, troubleshoot and optimize queries for data mining.
• Perform complex data analysis and investigation to explain results and make recommendations.
• Understand data modeling concepts and build data solutions for business needs.
• Participate in multiple concurrent projects and improve existing data solutions.
• Research new data sources to support development and data quality initiatives.
