Mayo Clinic is seeking a Data Engineer to access data across the organization, monitor and analyze databases, and expand data architecture for cross‑functional teams. The ideal candidate will translate business requirements into information needs and implement them using available data resources.

The role emphasizes building and optimizing data pipelines, ensuring data delivery architecture is consistent across projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field from an accredited University or College; OR an Associate’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field from an accredited University or College with 2 years of experience.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze and profile data using advanced data modeling, source system databases, or data mining techniques.

Responsabilités

• Assemble large, complex data sets that meet functional / non-functional business requirements.
• Strong knowledge of SQL; write and troubleshoot queries for data mining.
• Analyze business objectives and develop data solutions for customer needs.
• Build processes supporting data transformation, data structures, metadata, dependency and workload management.
• Support software developers, database architects, data analysts, and data scientists on data initiatives.
