Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking a Data Engineer to standardize data platforms and automate data pipelines across the Worldwide Operations Finance S&A team. You will design scalable data infrastructure, integrate multiple data sources, and deliver trusted data for reporting, analytics, and GenAI models.

You will build ETL pipelines in Python, SQL, Spark, and deploy with AWS CDK, CodePipeline, and CodeDeploy, working with Redshift, S3, Glue, and EMR.

Qualifications

3+ years of data engineering experience.
Experience with data modeling, warehousing and ETL pipelines.
Bachelor's degree in a related field.
Proficiency in Python, Java, Scala, or NodeJS.
Knowledge of distributed systems for data storage/computing.

Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain complex data solutions and ETL pipelines using Python, Spark, SQL and AWS services.
Develop scalable data architectures to support reporting needs for internal Finance customers.
Collaborate with tech teams to extract, transform, load data from multiple sources ensuring data quality.
Work with BI Engineers to deliver data architecture projects and financial solutions.
Participate in code reviews and drive improvements to analytics processes and self-service tooling.
Identify and implement innovations to scale existing solutions and meet stakeholder needs.
Diagnose and resolve operational issues to maintain high availability.
