Job summary

Anthropic is seeking a Data Engineer to join our growing team in San Francisco. You will own design and maintenance of data models and pipelines, transforming raw data into trusted datasets for analytics and decision making.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of experience, with strong skills in dbt, Python, SQL, Airflow, and revenue data reconciliation across billing and usage systems. Relocation and visa support are available.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and maintaining data models and pipelines in dbt.
• Strong Python skills and ability to build multi-step data workflows.
• Expertise with SQL and data quality across billing, usage, and payments.
• Experience with Airflow for workflow orchestration.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain canonical datasets from billing, usage and payments.
• Create dashboards and self-serve data products.
• Own data accuracy and reconciliation across systems.
• Define metrics for billing systems and monitor them.
