Job summary

DLA Piper is seeking a Data Engineer, Solutions & Data to design, build, and operate data pipelines enabling analytics, reporting, and downstream solutions. The role emphasizes governance, data quality, and secure access to integrated data across the firm.

You will work in a hybrid arrangement, sit in any U.S. office, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver reusable data assets and scalable pipelines that support multiple initiatives.

Qualifications

• 3 years of data engineering experience.
• Bachelor's degree preferred in CS/Engineering.
• Strong SQL and Python proficiency.
• Experience with Azure data services and data warehousing.
• Knowledge of data governance and DataOps concepts.
• Ability to work in cross‑functional, agile teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and operationalize data pipelines aligned to SLAs.
• Consolidate data from multiple sources into centralized integration points.
• Ingest, transform, and publish data for analytics and reporting.
• Design data warehousing using Azure Synapse Analytics.
• Identify data issues and implement monitoring and remediation.
• Collaborate with engineers, analysts, and stakeholders in agile pods.
