Position: Data Engineer, Insights Platform Team

The Insights Platform develops healthcare analytics products focused on revenue cycle, supply chain, pharmacy, and other capabilities. The Data Engineer will work on developing new features, APIs, server-side processes, and services to support the platform's growth, collaborating with product leadership and engineering teams.

Responsibilities:

1. Design and estimate efforts for changes to the Insights applications.
2. Develop high-quality code, processes, and architecture modifications.
3. Deliver fully tested code for deployment.
4. Troubleshoot bugs and issues.
5. Coordinate with engineers to ensure comprehensive platform updates meet business needs.
6. Implement enhancements to improve platform performance and functionality.
7. Assist in creating project plans and roadmaps.
8. Maintain documentation of system designs.
9. Provide training to internal stakeholders.
10. Perform additional duties as needed.

Qualifications:

Required:

• U.S. work authorization.
• BS in a technical field or equivalent experience.
• Strong computer science fundamentals.
• 3-5 years of software engineering experience.
• 3-5 years of Python and SQL experience.
• 3-5 years of experience with AWS services like Redshift, Lambda, ECS, S3, etc.
• Experience with Boto3 and AWS CLI.
• Experience with UNIX/Linux systems.
• Experience with web server technologies like Apache or Nginx.
• Understanding of Agile methodologies and internet protocols.
• Experience with version control systems.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Motivated self-starter able to learn quickly.
• Ability to work in a collaborative, multi-disciplinary team.
• Willingness to travel up to 10% annually.

Preferred:

• Experience with PostgreSQL, DBT, Infrastructure-as-Code, and healthcare data standards like FHIR.
• Remote work flexibility.

The estimated salary range is $80,000 - $120,000, with total compensation including incentives up to $141,600, plus benefits.
