Job summary

Dark Wolf Solutions in Tampa, FL is seeking a Data Engineer to build and maintain data infrastructure powering AI/ML models on-site at MacDill AFB. You will design robust pipelines, validate data quality, and collaborate with matrix teams.

Requires 5+ years of data engineering, cloud experience, SQL, ETL tools, and big data tech. Bachelor’s degree required; TS clearance preferred. Competitive salary range $150,000–$200,000.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of data engineering experience including architecture and modeling.
• 2+ years in cloud environments.
• 1+ year with scripting languages (Python/JavaScript/R).
• 1+ year with big data tools (Spark/Hadoop/Hive/Druid/NoSQL).
• Experience with ETL tools for AI/ML data prep and loading.
• Ability to visualize data end-to-end and communicate results.
• Strong understanding of database concepts and SQL.
• Bachelor's in CS/IT; TS security clearance preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain data pipelines powering AI/ML models.
• Enable AI/ML data factory pipelines and validate performance.
• Design and maintain scalable data workflows for telemetry and other sources.
• Deploy containerized workloads using Docker/K3s/Istio in secure environments.
• Coordinate data acquisition, ingestion, tagging, and analysis with stakeholders.
