The Opportunity

This is a chance to build production-grade machine learning infrastructure that processes one of the largest and fastest-growing open-source corpora in the world. You’ll help scale batch and real-time inference systems, turn unstructured data into valuable features, and automate ML workflows that support high-impact intelligence applications. The team is scaling rapidly, and this is a high-ownership role with real engineering depth.

What You’ll Do

1. Create structured data assets from massive volumes of unstructured input
2. Scale both batch and online inference workflows
3. Automate and optimize machine learning training and deployment pipelines
4. Enhance and expand CI/CD processes for ML-driven systems
5. Author technical design documents and participate in code reviews
6. Collaborate with a talented, cross-functional team of engineers, data scientists, and domain experts

What We’re Looking For

1. 5+ years of software engineering experience, ideally in data-heavy environments
2. Proven ability to design and scale backend systems for ML or analytics workflows
3. Strong problem-solving mindset with an affinity for working across complex datasets
4. Practical experience with cloud infrastructure and modern DevOps practices
5. Clear communication, strong ownership, and a bias toward shipping reliable code
6. Ability to break down ambiguous challenges into well-scoped engineering work
