Job summary

Hivemind Technologies AG is seeking a Data Engineer who thrives on building scalable, reliable data platforms. You will design elegant pipelines and data systems that power real-world decisions while working in a small, dynamic team.

We focus on real-time data platforms, cloud-native infrastructure, and secure, resilient systems. You will join a flexible, remote-friendly environment with annual Berlin onsite and strong growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• In-depth knowledge of at least one big data processing framework (preferably Spark).
• Knowledge of ETL principles.
• Experience with SQL and concepts of Data Lake Houses.
• Familiar with Medaillon Architecture concepts.
• Experience with Kafka or similar streaming architectures.
• Experience with Open Table formats such as Delta, Iceberg or Paimon.
• Experience with Data Processing with Flink or Spark.
• Experience with at least one of the following: Scala or Python.
• Experience with cloud computing and serverless paradigms.
• Experience with building data processing pipelines and complex workflows.
• Experience with ML, generative AI and MLOps.
• Knowledge of Unix-like operating systems.
• Knowledge of current trends in software design, architecture and web services.
