Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a senior Data Engineer to build and maintain production data pipelines aligned with governance-defined models in a fast-paced, regulated healthcare-related environment.

You will own reliability of the data platform, implement canonical data models (OMOP/HEDIS mappings), and collaborate with data science and analytics teams to meet model and workflow needs.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 6+ years of data engineering experience with a Bachelor's degree, or 5+ years with a Master's degree.
• Data engineering experience, notably in the healthcare/pharma sector.
• Strong SQL and Python skills.
• Experience with cloud data platforms such as Databricks, Snowflake, or similar.
• Experience designing and orchestrating ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Effective English verbal and written communication.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, regulated environment.
• Ability to drive transformational change and engage diverse stakeholders.
• Understanding of technology applications in the Life Science sector.
• Candidates must have permanent work authorization in the United States.
• U.S. work visa sponsorship is not available now or in the future.

Responsibilities
