Job summary

Aretec, Inc. is seeking a full-time Data / Backend Engineer to design and build secure data connectors, ingestion and ETL pipelines, and harmonize metadata for consistent data evaluation.

You will collaborate with engineers and stakeholders to scale data infrastructure for a client's greenfield AI solution, implement data-quality controls, and integrate backend services and APIs across diverse data stores.

Qualifications

• Strong experience building data connectors, ingestion pipelines, or ETL/ELT workflows.
• Strong SQL skills and experience with relational or analytical data stores.
• Experience with Python or another language used for data and backend engineering.
• Knowledge of metadata harmonization, normalization, and data-quality controls.
• Experience integrating backend services and APIs.
