Job summary

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Full-Stack Data Engineer to join a high-performing consulting engagement supporting a leading global investment management firm.

In this role, you will be responsible for designing, building, and optimizing end-to-end data pipelines, modernizing data architecture, and managing robust orchestration workflows. The ideal candidate blends deep hands-on engineering capabilities in modern data platforms with a strong understanding of financial services domain concepts.

Key Responsibilities

• Pipeline Development & Orchestration: Design, implement, and maintain enterprise data pipelines and workflow orchestration using modern cloud and scheduling frameworks.
• Database & Data Warehouse Engineering: Develop, optimize, and manage complex SQL queries, database objects, and enterprise data models across cloud and on-premise platforms.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with both technical engineering teams and non-technical business stakeholders to translate strategic business requirements into scalable technical architecture.
• Data Quality & Performance: Ensure high availability, data integrity, and performance optimization across data pipelines and warehousing systems.

Qualifications & Key Requirements

• Core Data Tech Stack: Strong, hands-on proficiency with Snowflake, Oracle, and SQL.
• Pipeline & Orchestration Tools: Demonstrated experience with ADO (Azure DevOps) / ADF (Azure Data Factory) and enterprise scheduling tools (e.g., Breeze, Argen, or similar orchestration frameworks).
• Domain Knowledge: Prior experience within Financial Services, Investment Management, or Asset Management is highly preferred.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a proven track record of effectively bridging technical and business discussions.

Nice to Have

• Experience working within client-facing or consulting environments.
• Familiarity with modern data stack architectures and cloud-native integration patterns.
