Alpha Resources LLC is building Nexus, a consolidated data warehouse designed to unify reliable data and reporting across commercial, manufacturing, finance, marketing, and other business functions. In this hybrid role, you will help create and operate production-grade data pipelines that keep the warehouse dependable and the reporting layer aligned with evolving business needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is required.
• Experience building and maintaining production data pipelines or data warehouses.
• Strong SQL and Python skills with hands-on Databricks experience.
• Knowledge of dimensional modeling, ELT pipeline design, Git/GitHub, and CI/CD workflows.
• Experience developing reporting and translating business requirements into technical solutions.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools such as Codex or Claude Code.

Responsibilities

Preferred qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Experience owning a data platform end to end.
• Databricks or Microsoft data engineering certification.
• Experience with Fivetran, Azure PostgreSQL, or Microsoft Entra ID.
• Familiarity with ERP, CRM, manufacturing, finance, or multi-site business operations.

Location and travel

• Preferred locations: Stevensville, Michigan; UK or Scotland.
• Remote candidates based in the U.S., UK, or Ireland will be considered.
• Travel is occasional and expected to be less than 10%.
• Candidates must have authorization to work in their country of employment and be able to travel to other countries.
• Willingness to travel: 25% (Preferred).
