Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Database Engineer for a 12 month contract. This role is 100% remote, aligned with PST hours, and pays a target hourly rate of $50–$54.50/hour (W2).

Ideal candidates will have database administration experience with Postgres and/or Oracle, strong SQL skills including PL/SQL, experience with data loading and historical data mapping, and familiarity with regulated environments (e.g., HIPAA) and data modeling rules.

Qualifications

• Database administration experience with major databases (PostgreSQL and/or Oracle).
• Strong SQL skills including reading/writing complex queries.
• Experience with PL/SQL programming.
• Experience with data loading and historical data mapping processes.
• Familiarity with regulated environments and compliance requirements (HIPAA).
• Ability to read/interpret data models and enforce input/output rules against existing models.
• Knowledge of partitions, objects, schemas, and query performance/tuning.

Job description

This is a 12 month contract engagement. This role can sit 100% Remote - working PST hours. The target hourly rate is $50-54.50/hr W2.

We are looking for the following experinece:

• Database Amdinistration
• Must have database experience with Postgres and/or Oracle
• Must be able to read and write in SQL (complex and simple query)
• Recent experinece in PL-SQL programming
• Must have experience with data loading and "data loading process" - historical data mapping
• Should come from highly regulated environment and familiar with following compliance requirements (ie. Hippa)
• Familiar with reading and interpreting data modeling (not creating data models), but following in-put/out-put and rules/parameters. [map to existing data models]
• Familiar with how partitions, objects, schemes, and query performance/ tuning
