Job summary

IMR SOFT LLC is seeking an experienced AWS Data Engineer for client engagements in Plano, TX. The role focuses on designing and maintaining data lake and analytics solutions on AWS.

You will build scalable data pipelines, automate infrastructure with Terraform, and collaborate across teams to deliver enterprise-grade data platforms. 8–12 years of experience and USC/GC/EAD only visa eligibility are required.

Qualifications

• 8–12 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with AWS data lake technologies and cloud-native data solutions.
• Proficiency in building scalable data pipelines.
• Familiarity with AI tools/workflows is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and support AWS-based data lake and analytics solutions.
• Build and optimize data pipelines, ingestion frameworks, and orchestration workflows.
• Automate infrastructure using Terraform and implement CI/CD best practices.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and enhance data platform performance, security, and governance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, enterprise-grade data solutions.

• Snowflake, Python, Terraform
• AWS CloudWatch, Splunk
• Experience with AI tools/workflows (Copilot, Claude, Agentic AI)
• Strong experience building scalable data pipelines and cloud-native data solutions

Nice to Have:

• Databricks (Unity Catalog)
• Snowflake Horizon Catalog
• Java/Scala
