Job summary

Conch Technologies, Inc is seeking a seasoned Data Engineer to design and support enterprise data platforms onsite in Orlando. You will build scalable ETL/ELT pipelines, model data, and work with Azure Data Lake and Fabric Data Factory to enable analytics across BI initiatives.

Ideal candidate has 8+ years of data engineering, strong SQL, and Python/Scala programming skills, with experience in cloud data warehouses and modern data ecosystems. Onsite 6-month contract with Power BI integration.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of Data Engineering experience designing and supporting enterprise data platforms.
• Strong hands-on experience building ETL/ELT pipelines and data integration solutions.
• Experience with Microsoft Fabric including Data Factory, OneLake, Lakehouse, and Data Warehouse.
• Proficiency in SQL for complex data transformation, optimization, and performance tuning.
• Strong programming skills in Python, Scala, or similar languages for data processing.
• Experience with Azure Data Lake, cloud data platforms, and modern data ecosystems.
• Experience building scalable data warehouses, lakehouses, and analytics platforms.
• Strong understanding of relational, dimensional, and enterprise data modeling concepts.
• Hands-on experience with data orchestration tools such as Azure Data Factory or Fabric Data Factory.
• Experience integrating data from APIs, databases, flat files, and enterprise applications.
• Knowledge of big data technologies and distributed data processing frameworks.
• Experience supporting Power BI reporting, self-service analytics, and business intelligence initiatives.
