Qualifications

• 5+ years of development experience in Python, Java, C++, or Scala.
• 5+ years of SQL experience, No-SQL is a plus.
• 5+ years of experience with schema design and dimensional data modeling.
• Strong ownership mentality and excellent strategic thinking skills.
• Experience designing and maintaining data processing systems.
• BS degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.

Join our team and build large-scale, cutting-edge data platforms from the ground up! This role offers the opportunity to leverage the latest Big Data technologies without the constraints of technical debt.

Responsibilities

• Help define company data assets (data model) and develop Spark, SparkSQL, and HiveSQL jobs.
• Design data integrations and data quality frameworks, and evaluate open-source/vendor tools for data lineage.
• Collaborate with business units and engineering teams to develop a long-term Data Platform architecture that is efficient, reliable, and scalable.
• Own the data architecture for large-scale projects, evaluating design and operational cost-benefit tradeoffs.
• Work with engineers, product managers, and data scientists to understand data needs and represent key data insights.
• Design, build, and launch sophisticated data models and visualizations.
• Optimize pipelines, dashboards, frameworks, and systems.

Requirements

• 5+ years of Python, Java, C++, or Scala development experience.
• 5+ years of SQL experience (No-SQL experience is a plus).
• 5+ years of experience with schema design and dimensional data modeling.
• Startup mentality with strong ownership.
• Excellent product strategic thinking and communication skills.
• BS degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Experience designing, building, and maintaining data processing systems.

Preferred Qualifications

Compensation

• Poland Pay Range 183 600 zł--248 400 zł PLN
