You will have relevant experience working with financial data and exposure to various data stores such as Snowflake, Redshift and timeseries databases. As a liaison between technical teams and business users, excellent communication skills are a must. The ideal candidate for this role is self-starting, flexible, intellectually curious and adept at creative problem solving.Responsibilities and Impact:- Develop data solutions that enable investment professionals to efficiently extract insights from data.- Build tools and automation capabilities for data pipelines that improve the efficiency, quality and resilience of our data platform- Working directly with Product and Portfolio Managers to understand their data needs and provide end-to-end data solutions that address requirements- Work with timeseries databases (e.g., MongoDB, OneTick) to store, query, and manage tick data efficiently.- Build out data quality and integrity tools to ensure robust data validation and error handling.- Investigate data issues, working with data providers to ensure seamless interconnection between different data setsThe ideal candidate is an intellectually curious self-starter, who wants to develop skills in a fast-paced environment, has the ability to be proactive, responsive and multi-task efficiently, and a desire to create relationships across Capstone through collaborative work with the firm's Investment, Technology, Operations, Finance and other teams. The candidate should be humble, results-oriented and have the flexibility to adapt to quickly changing circumstances and priorities. The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis.
